The following Policy describes how Assurz (a) provides notice of our information handling practices; (b) uses information security safeguards; (c) limits the sharing of your personal information; and (d) commits to complying with applicable privacy requirements. This Policy is considered to be a part of the Assurz 100% Satisfaction Guarantee (“ASG”). By using the Sites, and purchasing the ASG or otherwise having the merchant provide you the ASG, you agree to the terms and conditions of the ASG, including this Policy.

Information Collection and Use
Assurz collects and maintains contact information about our customers (including names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers) and purchase details related to the ASG and merchandise our customers buy from the merchants enrolled in the Assurz 100% Satisfaction Guarantee program. This information is provided to Assurz by the merchants enrolled in our program whenever an ASG is ordered with a customer purchase. Revisions to contact details may be provided by our customers during the processing of their refund requests. Assurz uses this information for the sole purpose of providing services related to the ASG program. We will not sell, share or rent this information to any outside parties, except as outlined in this Policy (see Sharing below). We have no control over or responsibility for the information you provide to the merchants, the merchants’ partners or any other related party.

Merchants participating in the Assurz ASG program communicate customer and purchase information to us via the Internet. Although no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we cannot ensure against any loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction of data, we take reasonable precautions to prevent such unfortunate occurrences. Assurz databases are protected by physical, technical and procedural measures that restrict information access to authorized persons in accordance with this Policy. Our information systems are maintained behind a firewall to isolate them from access by other networks connected to the Internet.

Financial Account Information
Assurz does not request, capture or maintain any financial account information about its customers, such as credit card numbers, debit card numbers or bank account numbers.

Sharing
We may employ third-party companies to perform functions on our behalf. These functions may include customer service, marketing assistance, postal and email delivery, data analysis, product/software development and payment processing. The third parties we contract for these purposes have limited access to your personal information and may not use it for other purposes.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process. Under such circumstances, Assurz may be prohibited by law, court order or other legal process from providing notice of the disclosure, and Assurz reserves the right not to provide such notice in its sole discretion.

In addition, we may share data with any parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures and other companies under a common control or acquirers. As our business evolves, Assurz may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a merger, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy. In such an event, personal and anonymous information may be one of the assets transferred.

We may ask for your feedback through a survey, and we may use the results for our internal development and marketing research. We may also share the results with our affiliates, consultants, vendors and service providers.
